Final Report – Ending on a sad note in Nepal

As expected, our last few days in Kathmandu were busy with visiting people we had worked with and working out final budget paperwork.

Very sad news
Two days before we left we found out that a young man on another Y outreach team like ours had accidentally fallen into a river and drowned.

We and another family moved out of our flat at APEX so that the team could stay there together during this difficult time.

We are currently on a layover in Doha, Qatar. (on the Persian Gulf near Saudi Arabia) We traveled all night and will be home tomorrow. The next segment is 14 hours.

In the next week we will be debriefing and preparing to send our students off to their next destinations after being with us. It will be sad to see them go.
